QUALITY ChRISTIAN EDUCATION IN southEAST TENNESSEE
Since 1999, Shenandoah Baptist Academy has provided Christian families with strong academics coupled with quality fine arts and athletics on a secure campus in an atmosphere that challenges students to follow God’s truth above all other voices.
The academy’s goal is to glorify God by sharing the Gospel with each student and to train them to view every aspect of life in light of God’s wise creation, man’s sinful fall, and Christ’s miraculous redemption. We believe that God has created your child with a specific purpose for life, and our intention is that students use the knowledge and wisdom gained at the academy to impact their whole life.
Shenandoah Baptist Academy was established in 1999 as a ministry of Shenandoah Baptist Church. Since its founding, the academy has existed to encourage and assist families committed to fulfilling the Biblical mandate to rear their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
The Bible is at the center of the entire program at SBA. Our students gather for weekly chapel services to hear an age-appropriate message from God’s word that either presents the Gospel or instructs in Christian living. The other days of the week, teachers present a Bible lesson focusing on eternal truth from Scripture. Within the classroom, teachers rely on the Bible’s truth to counsel students and encourage them to seek God’s plan for life.
Our academics are presented from a traditional approach and intended to provide students with the best possible program of study. An emphasis is placed on a well-rounded learning experience. Realizing that children have different abilities, we expect each student to do his best in the classroom while developing
the character skills needed for life.
